Great discussion! When it comes to the police showing up it's more about the fact that Chuck was running around in foil than about the newspaper. Someone who seems to be on drugs in a nice neighborhood are going to get the cops attention fast. Also I don't know if it translated well to your country but the show that Jimmy was watching at the end where he was getting the idea for the suit that he's wearing in the nursing home was Matlock, which is a super popular show with elderly people. Jimmy knows that by wearing that suit it'll make old folks comfortable around him. It's a really smart move for him.

I love how you guys are waiting for fireworks at every turn. You'll soon settle into the BCS pace. It's not Breaking Bad. It's a different kind of show but equally great imo. Just like Breaking Bad it takes a few seasons to brew. There is no S5 without S1 and 2 :)

I always love when new BCS reactors are just waiting for everything to go horrible because of how BB conditioned them. You'll get used to the writing style of this show its VERY different from BB (I love it so much more)

lol they so used to the crack ass breaking bad and aot endings and twists. bcs def starts off slow but i rly do enjoy these slower pace almost everyday life scenes of saul and mike building up for the bigger story. calm b4 the storm kind of deal

These first 5 eps are pretty slow paced, but starting next episode things really start picking up

I think Jimmy does know that Chuck's condition is psychological but Jimmy is loyal to his family and he does what he knows Chuck wants rather than what's best for Chuck because if the roles were reversed, he'd want Chuck to do the same- do what Jimmy wants rather than what's best for him.

Like what other said, it's funny how conditioned we are about expecting surprises and whatnot. Also, Interesting that Jimmy decided to specialize in elder law because Kim sparked the idea. Before, Jimmy was out looking for that big score.

Why is this reaction at Google Drive ? I usually just cast straight to tv via U tube full reaction on Google Drive but not the regular, I've had to watch this on my phone .

I don’t mean to get political if it sounds that way (it’s not intentional) but it seems like every reaction channel can’t understand why cops would show up like they did and the “overreaction” that followed. There are plenty of reason, as many have pointed out, but I just wanted to say that I really think today’s climate has altered the way this scene was meant to play out. I really think any scene where cops show up and appear to harass or go overboard on any arrest or questioning is forever now tainted. Whereas maybe the same scene 5-6 years ago (when the scene was filmed) wouldn’t garner any reaction other than wondering what would happen to Chuck. Certainly not any negative reaction to the police, even for something (perceived to be) trivial and insignificant as a newspaper.

I agree the scene plays different now, but it does show how limited the police are in dealing with mentally ill citizens. They’re right to think something is off here, but they immediately treat him like a criminal when he was trying to explain the situation through the door. And because he did what? Steal a newspaper?

I think they barged in, because the appearance of his circuit breaker torn apart makes the whole house look suspicious, like someone disabled the power and is living there illegally.
