Great discussion at the end of this episode. That was a really important scene, and as you pointed out, Walt losing it at the end is that he now has to face the reality of his choices. It is a critical scene for the series.

Danny

that ending scene. gives me the chills every single time. heisenberg is born

Also, as you also pointed out, the acting is unbelievable in this series. Bryan Cranston's performance as Walter White is one for the ages.

I love how perceptive y'all are. A lot don't get the punching of the paper towel dispenser that quickly. Great reaction as always!!

This episode was written because the show was running low on money in their budget. They needed to write an episode with just a couple of characters and lots of dialogue. It’s a tribute to the writers and actors that they can make an episode where the goal is to save money so intriguing. Great episode and great reaction as usual!!

William Abbott

at 120 degrees they would have died within 6 hours. maybe they could walk at night.

Dante

Agreed they do it so masterfully every time. Especially in season 3!

but how cold does it get at night there, cause they were freezing when it became dark

Very true. Even better is that most people end up getting there. They know the reaction is strong and important and it makes them step back and think about it, reason it out, and the normally end up at the same spot. Sign of fantastic writing
