Hi! I'm so happy you are watching Haikyuu! You are going to love it. I've been following you since The 100, (no one shared my pain about bellarke like you did), so I am so excited you are watching my favorite anime. This is such an amazing story, it has incredible themes and teachings, but most important, I do think this a love story. A love story with Volleybal. Lola, get ready, you are going to end up playing Volleyball again before finishing this series; you already love the sport, you wont be able to resit; even if it's just passing the ball with friends, or going to a local comunity gym and searching for a Team. I cant wait for Milena to also fall in love with this sport. I think that's one of the things that really distinguishes this anime with other sports anime; when Furudate (a horror mangaka before writing this) decided to write this story, he/(they) did not did it because they wanted to do a sports manga. Furudate played Voleyball in middle school and high school, and he loved this sport, he adored it. And he wanted to share that love. I think you'll able to see the amount of care that is in every single detail. He just wanted to prove to the world how cool, how interesting, and how fun Volleyball is.
