I love that HxH is willing to go over the top of it's own power system with something real like a nuclear bomb. Most anime will either have powers that are way stronger than actual weapons, or just not bring it up. That's not at all a bad decision, of course, since you'd have to really justify it being in the story, and HxH does that. But it is cool to finally have a world where characters with moderate powers coexist with modern weapons that could wipe them out instantly. Like the politicians think "let them have their magic anime battles, but as soon as shit gets out of hand, we're carpet bombing them."

Watching the full reactions for the remainder of the show (let alone the arc) is gonna be a treat. The beauty of this arc is that despite its slow parts, when it rains it's a fucking tsunami lol
