Yeah so the color of a star dictates its radiation levels. Under a yellow sun, Kryotonians gain superhuman abilities like Superman, but under a red sun they’re basically just like humans. Krypton had a red sun, which was something they highlighted in Man of Steel. Also, Superman: Red Son is a different thing, but I HIGHLY recommend you watch it soon. It’s so so so good.

It's funny because in Season 4 of Batman the sky in Gotham is usually red too, but that seems like more of a visual effect than something unnatural. Another villain rematch, Luminous having become a fully-formed villain after his first episode where he was just Lois' stalker. Still makes the rookie mistake of playing with his food though. The holograms remind me a bit of Mysterio from Spider-Man. Can't wait to see your reaction to Superman vs. The Elite, as it's one of my favorite DC films.
