This was always one of my favorite episodes! For 90% of the complaints that I hear about Batman’s character, I always point to this episode. Whether it’s the “he’s just a rich guy that beats up poor people” or the “he makes things worse for Gotham by inspiring other villains.” Naw, he’s just doing the best he can against people who would’ve turned out just as evil without him lol. And yeah, I think you’re right about Harley. I think this is the first time it’s mentioned that she was a doctor.

'Hit 'im with a rooock!' -Killer Croc, Juror I'm 50-50 between this or Almost Got 'Im as my #1 favorite of the series. This is Arkham Asylum LONG before those games came out, and I really like how the story focuses on prosecutor Van Dorn's development. A real shame we don't get to see more of Janet being Harvey Dent's replacement as an honest and active DA, perhaps occasionally calling Bats out on his more brutal methods. She actually does have a legitimate beef here, as shown in the opening scene with how the courts have to be lenient with the rogues due to their capture by an unsanctioned vigilante instead of officers of the law. Also the first hints of Harley Quinn's backstory as a doctor at Arkham.
