The Amazing Webhead

Wow! This was unexpected but I love it. This isn’t as great as the first two but it wrapped everything really well and went full cycle with the first film. Great to see Bane, Catwoman, and Talia in the mix. The film showcases a different take of Bane’s backstory because of how grounded this universe is and why they didn’t include venom. Side note: if you like Tom Hardy, you should watch the Venom films. Talia once again chose her father’s legacy and why fans and even DC themselves love Selina and Bruce as endgame. The film gave audience a scenario where Bruce has a happy ending. Good reaction. ^^

Well for Selina everyone knows she's catwoman anyway her identity isn't a secret, all the vliians know and Batman knows but yea her costume isn't my fav in this but her and Batmans dynamic I liked we rarely get Selina in movies she's been in like 4 live action films compared to animated stuff. Bane was scary in this and Bane breaking batmans back is a huge comic thing he's the first villian to ever break batman physcially. Loved your reaction and it wraps the trilogy up prefectly imo ^^ and I'm so happy Alfred got to see Bruce happy in the end and with Selina too, Bruce and Selina are always end game for me and many fans

I always love how unexpected these uploads are. I just came onto Patreon and this instantly popped up. While I love The Dark Knight more than this, I still think it was a good ending to the trilogy. But I can't wait for you guys to get into the other live action movies and seeing the different Batmen. I kind of hope you guys start with Batman 1966 first before going to Batman 1989 only cause I'd love to see both your reactions to the different tone of both movies and universes. But I'm fine with whichever you guys decide to do next.

As much as I enjoy the Nolan movies I always felt that Dark Knight and Dark Knight Rises suffers from being too Nolan. Gotham was stripped from it's identity and characters like Batman become much less.... We'll Batman looking I guess in each film with how they made his armour more slim looking along with adding a bunch of detail that kind of mash's with the Bat symbol making it difficult to see leaving only the ears and cape. Playing Arkham Knight with the suit just shows how different it is visually to every other Batman suit and really shows that it can only look good in the Nolan films. Catwoman as well suffers from this as well for me just feels that they removed alot of the visually identity of alot of these characters and Gotham itself which is why I much prefer Batman Begins. Talia was.... interesting idk her random appearance and death scene was never something I enjoyed about this film, acting was a little mixed as well more in relation to the death scene. Also the whole Robin reveal was pretty odd so yeah idk overall I enjoyed this film but still prefer Batman Begin. Feel that other Batman movies like The Batman does a buch better job at depicting the more grounded early years of Batman but visually still looks it's set in Gotham City with it's own visual style with the heavy use of Gothic Revival architecture. Batman as well just looks great both practical yet they don't clash with the look of Batman. But overall glad you enjoyed this film.

Have to agree that this is the weakest of the trilogy, but that hardly makes it bad- all trilogies must logically have a weakest entry. I think the problem was cramming in too much, trying to capture both Knightfall (which I recommend you read) and No Man's Land, both of which are enormous stories spanning dozens of comic books. As a result the final act felt rather rushed and lacked the time to capture the full scope of the changes that Bane's rule had brought to Gotham City. Bane has had prior connections with the League of Shadows in the comics, and is the only other man besides Bruce that Talia has ever loved. Great parallels here with how he suffers unbearable pain without his mask while Bruce struggles to discard his before he is doomed to the same fate. Looking forward to seeing what you make of the TAS version of Bane.

I always really enjoyed this movie, and I’m glad y’all did too. I will say that I think it might be the weakest of the trilogy, but it’s still a B+ (as opposed to the A’s that are the first two of the trilogy). I think Catwoman’s costume was more inspired by the 60s TV show than the more modern iterations, which I think at some point it would be cool to see y’all react to the 1966 movie (which is on Max). It’ll show a very different interpretation of Batman which was very prevalent at that time (until the Batman comics went back to their darker roots in the 70s). Looking forward to seeing y’all’s reactions to the Keaton movies, and a rewatch of The Batman!

Yup! Up to you guys though obviously. But I especially can't wait to see your reaction to the other TDKR (The Dark Knight Returns), which I think is infinitely better than Rise

"What, did he walk? How did he get into the city?" To understand how Bruce was able to get across the world without his money or tech, What you need to remember is that Bruce Wayne.....is Batman.
