Super late but Fisk is definitely not putting on a facade. You can tell he was extremely nervous and gentle around her. Not all mob bosses are complete rage monsters.... only mostly 😅 Plus he's not deciding who he thinks deserves protection, never even said anything about that. Saying people like her was complimenting her, possibly her innocence or at least her goodness. You definitely can't charge money to places where you work, you will get in big trouble but luckily for Karen, they are understanding and she got money later on to cover it lol. And I'm not sure what you were going for acting like he was a danger to her.... of course you haven't seen the whole season yet but like...I.. he never implied in any way shape or form that he expects something from Vanessa.
