Hey everyone, I just wanted to let you all know that I will be taking a more permanent step back from reading comments over here, especially in regards to the Marvel stuff.

While I try my best to be perfectly moral and see the humanity in all characters, I feel like this fandom especially gets so heated, to the point where MY character is attacked. When you don't fully know me :( I'm accused of not understanding the screenplay, for letting my trauma blind me--and that's just devastating because I'm being vulnerable with you all. I don't have to share my past, but I do. And I don't point at you all and say "you don't understand the screenplay" because you dislike a character, or you make a joke about one that I like.

I'm seeing more and more of this on Patreon, and I work hard to be very active and put out a lot of different (unedited content) over here. I want to have personal relationships with you, but I simply can't with the continuing condescenion and accusations. 

There's a reason why our stuff hits close to home--we allow ourselves to be vulnerable to you all, and let you into our homes and hearts. There have been comments on Patreon that have made me break down into tears and wonder if there's even a space for me in the content creation world, something that doesn't happen on other platforms because there's more of that parasocial barrier. Things have been said to me, and assumed of me, that would never be said to my face IRL.

I just wanted to make it clear why I'll be less active in response. And also to be clear, this doesn't mean you can't voice an opposing opinion! There are plenty of you that have those, or point something out that we missed, in a respectful, kind way. And we respond similarly. If you'd like to discuss something with me, with mutual respect, I'm very active on Discord and Twitch, where I have the help of my moderators. Uploads will continue as normal.

I'm sorry if the lack of response here is disappointing to some of you. I really tried my best.

I know we can all agree to disagree on some opinions but that doesn’t mean we need to be mean or harsh to each other about it. We can debate in a more positive manner. I’m sorry you had to resort to this but I hope eventually you’ll feel comfortable enough to be able to engage again. Again I’m so sorry about this but I also appreciate the honesty. Thanks Meg <3
