Hey friends, after some consideration and conversation with other patrons, watchalongs will be the norm. Including the entire movie is illegal and has posed many problems with finding the right platform...but mostly, it's illegal, and we would like to keep doing this without getting in trouble! We completely understand if you need to unpledge. We want to be safe. ❤

Meh. If that is the case; I recommend a blurred copy of whatever is being watched, a thirty-ish seconds of clear video/audio lead-up TO the blurred media, and a time counter of whatever media is being watched.... Pain in the Ass I know, but easiest for us/Patrons to sync AND STAY synced throughout....

Okay thanks for the confirmation guys. As much as I don't like the issues and problems with watch alongs, I can understand the obvious legal reasons behind doing it. All I'll say is just to follow much of what I'm seeing other people here saying in regards to syncing like having a blurry version of the movie on screen but just a tiny bit of audio. Also the countdown that Caleb provided in the Iron Man 3 video in the beginning was very helpful for me. I think just adding a timer for future reactions going forward is definitely beneficial especially in case you guys happen to pause or something so it doesn't screw up the sync.
