With the conversion calculator on google, 100,000 yen is about 742 USD. The character said most months, she doesn't even get that. That's less than minimum wage in the US. The adaptation of the manga is basically 1 to 1. It's really great Oh and Doga Kobo is the animation studio. They had a popular show drop last year called Shikimori's Not Just a Cutie.

For future episodes, if you're using HiDive, you can change the subtitle color if you want through the settings. I know some people don't like their default yellow as it can be harder to read.

Also, manga reader here, I've been very pleased and impressed with the love and care the studio has taken to adapt this series. The movie-length first episode was a bold move, but a necessary one that I'd say was very successful. For reference, the author of the manga is the same as Kaguya-Sama Love is War
