Dope reaction. As a manga reader, I think the adaptation is sufficient. Honestly the only thing that's really lacking is the animation, since you can tell it's a bit wonky at times and they use a lot of still frames. Which sucks when you see Barou's chop dribble and can't exactly tell what he's doing differently without looking it up. In comparison to Haikyu (And Kuroko later on lol) the quality is nowhere near as great. BUT everything else is great, the VAs, art-style, music, pacing, sound, etc. The manga is a MUCH better experience imo since the art is so sick and the dialogue is translated better; the anime pales in comparison, but at least they still manage to make it hype every week.

i played soccer in from middle school through highschool and some stuff looks a little bit off sometimes whether due to overexagerated movement from animation or not being able to capture the proper technique in 2d but overall i get that its anime and they cant get that stuff perfect in animation luckily they seem to understand that and make up for it in other ways through not focusing too much on technique being the primary focal point to get your eyes to focus on and when it is they do make what technique they do focus on look fairly fluid and nice on the higher budget moments p.s. Sorry for the massive paragraph got carried away. Lol

for Kuroko.. it changed drasticly later on (improved animation...less stiffnes and more dynamic in the movement). for Blue Lock the Manga put some crazy panels that acquire S.Tier Animation. They use alot of still frames. For example.. Mr Neck (Toshi) get confussed on some of Nagi's or Bachira move, asking how do they do that. For me who grew up playing soccer knows the movement. So yeah I wish for season 2 they gather enough money to fix that.
