I dunno I had alot of fun with it but you cant expect an nba game or even a traditionalgame flow, stylistically its going for that same over focus on individual players on the field that later stuff like bluelock is. Its a sport ANIME so its gonna be weird but kuroko generally is quite fun in high intensity games, i usually only struggle with the hang time stuff but especially once characters like aomine show up shit gets hype

I really think the issue is you're in your feels because it's something you love and hate done wrong. Personally I think most Shonen Anime sound tend to be on the cringe side of things, but Kuroko does seem more cringe then Haikyuu because they don't have a couch that really understand s the game so they pretty much spend first season (25) learning the basics. As for a comparison, Haikyuu spends the first season learning shit they should have already known but get by with instinct and skill (Hinata&Kageyama) but the coach learns and explains it to them. This also happens in Kuroko but I feel the story telling is much better in Haikyuu. As for the animation kuroko gets better in the 2nd half (12eps) but really doesn't get better till 2nd season around ep4 (so 30 eps in) and IMO get better in 3rd season again. I'm surprised you can deal with he wonky animation in Blue Lock.... like it goes from looking clean ass fuck shooting to having doodoo ball handling many times.

All in all if you getting the JoJo struggle I would just look at season 2 Op, It kind of gives a glimpse of how the animation changes and compare. (Other ppl plz say if you agree) If that doesn't change for animation then I would "you say run" the fuck out of this anime cause its def hype for its generation of miracle wanking! Which I loved...I will also note that this came out before Haikyuu and Blue Lock so I treat it like old anime vs knew anime. 2nd season came out same time Haikyuu came out btw

Also speaking of cringe, Isagi (Blue Lock) had to be told his "special ability" 3 times to understand! Like they literally told "your ability is X" then Nut Bust "...wait I feel like I understand what my ability is!"

I get what u saying.. but as the other members already mention its gettin better. When this anime released back in 2012 .the anime in generell wasnt that good, unless u came from a big Studio. Also I can guaranteed you that the visual will improve drasticly towards the later seasons. I just wish u would at least expierence the real hype moments. Maybe u would change your opinion after watching the Kuroko no Basket - the last game Movie !

This show isn't really meant to be taken super seriously, if you feel okay with that and can enjoy it for what it is then I think you should continue; otherwise not. I consider this a lighter variant of Prince of Tennis or what Dragon Ball is to martial arts...

Ok.. let me get to you straight all sport anime’s overhype stuff a lot including Haikyuu ☄️ but Story-telling is better, Blue Lock ⚽️ (I find it wonkier cause I played football but got used to it) and look at Ace Of Diamond 🧢⚾️ it’s a really really slow anime😑 but it gets its payoff in season 3 but the animation is just crisper not better. If you wanna continue Kuroko 🏀 then continue only by looking at this a Shounen 🥷 anime becoz it will become like one in later part of season 2 😶‍🌫️ that all are talking about and I also approve of that shit is good👍 but if you put your perspective in this anime then things will only get messier; it’s purely your call brother 👊🏻🧩 JOKE- Pls show this guy a piece of Prince Of Tennis 🎾, I bet he will die of cringe👀🗿😂

I Feel You It Was An Old Anime So They Couldn’t Really Do The Realistic Feel Of Basketball Justice Like You’d Want them to, still had a nice story line down the road 💯But If You Do Feel Like Dropping This Anime I’d Love To See You Give Either “Seraph of the End” or “Akame Ga Kill” A Try Both I Find Real Good In My Opinion And Both Aren’t Super Long

its not about comparing stories thats not necessary , its mainly the look of the physics and also because im close to the sport its hard to get behind the overhype i never played soccer or vollyball or baseball for that long so its not the same for me like i said in the video.

I think the biggest issues with Kuroko the show aside from visuals is that it definitely feels dated. We have been blessed with ALOT of really good anime from visuals to sounds to stories and I remember having similar thoughts. I'm good whether u finish it or not I think u should at least see all of the Miracles abilities. I actually love these kinda reactions u have also I think your reactions in Kuroko are hilarious. Recommendations Aoashi is dope Konosuba is hilarious I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Overlord is sooo good (cgi really sucks in it but overall good) Eminence in Shadow is another really great one
