I think it's similar to how in Blue Lock, Isagi has this epiphany about off the ball movements being a thing when they kind of make you expect something over the top or advanced, although the execution was better

I dunno man the did it way better in kuroko, atleast characters never turn into clay monsters with messed up joints in wide angle shots, the kicks and eye shit is cool but blue lock has terrible animation compared to kuroko when both are going
