Thoughts on AoAshi (the other soccer anime) I really enjoyed it, in some aspects more so than Blue Lock (so far). Where Blue Lock is a Shounen through and through, AoAshi takes the Shonen aspects of Blue Lock and adds a Seinen off field approach, which really gives the show a unique vibe.
