You can really feel the character growth on Rudy. If this was pre teleport Rudy wouldn't even hesitate and dive right in... But here we see him unsure of what to do. Also glad you didn't drop this anime because of the segg scene LOL props to you man! This is necessary for Rudy's Charac growth.

I do hope they explain the reason why she left in the next episode. But so far it is soo spot on compared to the light novel in terms of base storyline. nothing is missed except for choice words and scenery. In the LN the land itself wasn't actually damaged. All manmade structures were practically deleted and the land was reverted back to its natural state.

I was waiting on this and it hit just the same as it did in the novel. I think I'm going to pick backup reading the novel again from this part. All I'm gonna say next is be ready for character development
