this season was definitely mid

Yeah this season was pretty bad for me. I dont understand why they changed the story lines from the manga. I understand if it made the story flow better but it didn't. They kept going back in forth in time and it was just annoying. Dont get me started on all the fluff that was added to 90% of the eps. Flash backs thrown into eps just to meet the eps run time got old real quick. Everytime the studio is working on the Movies and the show at the same time the anime suffers. season 4 and 5 are proof of that. More and More focus is being put on the movies and the quality of the shows drops like crazy. I do think you should read the Manga for MVA. Chapters 220-240. Now that you have an idea of the story the manga will add in small details to make everything make more sense.

I pray that they do next season justice, Its definitely better than even the MVA stuff but watch them find a way to mess it up lmfao. They better not try to promote another movie during it LUL

I agree with you. I honestly think they prioritize the movie that's coming out over this season, that's why they switched up the order and Japan's not big on villains getting spotlight.

I started off as an anime only viewer, but then i started seeing all these things about season swapping and some stuff was confusing, but decided to keep watching expecting they were gonna explain it (which they did). But then the dissatisfaction with the MVA started so i decided to catch up on the manga starting from MVA and i am glad that i did. The events were better detailed and explained, focus on individual people was better as well. Comparing it to the manga, this season was mid tier but i would place at around 6/10.

Yea pretty much but it’s fine to me. They did a decent job with the two big episodes but I gotta admit I’m scared for next season. Not spoilers but the next arc is easily the most important
