I felt like this episode was more emotional than the last one for me personally. Just because of the self reflection and perspective in it. My heart aches for Gugu regardless of how happy he acts he really is hurting inside. And it’s just so unfair. But that’s life right? This anime is so realistic even with being fantasy. I love it. May we all grow to have Gugu’s bravery and self respect.

One of the things that gets to me is that Gigi got mad at booze man for experimenting on him without asking, but he did the same thing to Fushi. Yeah he said to tell him to stop if he didn’t like it. But he still did it without asking. And we clearly saw that food she still feels pain. Although Gugu might not have seen it that just shows he didn’t care enough to see.

I don't know if I agree with that. Gugu is a child who meets an immortal being who can shape shift and only has the appearance of a human. The fact that Gugu so quickly brought up the fact that if Fushi was uncomfortable he should say something. It's barely comparable to a man who found a half dead child and decided to experiment with his body. Fushi didn't go after Gugu not for any other reason than being scared of the forest. Which he eventually overcame.
