Haikyuu just motivates me in a way that no other anime does - and like you said it's not just about the sport, but also about teamwork, overcoming certain hardships etc... it has helped me a lot personally and that's why i love this anime so much! As always Adonis, amazing reaction!

The thing about that whole scene is that Hinata speaking up benefited Kagayama more than anyone else. The funny thing is that the rest of the team recognizes how good Kagayama is at volleyball, but how terrible he is at communicating. Asahi wasn't even upset and he had every right to be. I just love how close this team is, and I love how because Hinata is so honest and "simple" he's able to just cut past all the bs and get everybody on the same page.

Finally realized I could change my profile name (SorenjiAxel) but to answer your question as a person who suffers from crippling depression, Haikyuu is one of those shows no matter how many times I've seen it I can put on an episode and feel inspired

I'm glad you immediately 100% understood what they were getting at with Kageyama accommodating the team's bad habits, so many people just think he was suddenly being an asshole and miss that he's pushing the spikers to be better

Haikyuu is the only anime where I can watch and feel at peace. Sure it gets pretty intense when they're playing in matches, but there's a certain charm about the way the story progresses and how the characters interact that is so unique to this show. Not only did they build Karasuno's team in a way that made us feel so connected to them like they're our family, but also how the show incorporates the stories of the teams Karasuno has played against. There's no real "malicious" intent from any character no matter how competitive they get because their love and passion for what they do are pure. Everyone is so supportive of each other. Even if one team wants to beat the other, they also want them to do well and succeed. Personally, this type of energy is something that is more commonly experienced when we were kids because everything was much simpler then. As we grow up, this feeling is often lost since we've all got so many other things in life to worry about. That's why Haikyuu is so nostalgic to me. Sorry, I gave you a whole paragraph.

Best thing you’ve ever said! Everyone does need a Hinata!

Just a couple of things. First off about Kageyama coming to accept being the person that he is, but being the best version he can be and trust him trying to do the best he can and that he always means well, even if it sounds bad. Second, and the biggest low-key thing that I noticed, when Hinata was playing against Date Tech in episode 2, and he had that moment where Date Tech all FELT Hinata's aura, his Kaoken-like powerup he was feeling before the ball was about to be set. We've only seen that animation once before, and it was last season. Ushijima Wakatoshi from Shiratoriawa did it when he called for the ball. The biggest difference, besides the team color of their auras, was that Ushijima's was much more powerful. But that should be, as he is a third year and one of the best in all of Japan right now, a top three spiker in the nation. Foreshadowing, I think Hinata makes that jump and gets that animation again, but even more so each time
