I wanna say Diamond no Ace but you’re already doing a sports anime in Haikyuu so maybe after you catch up to Haikyuu? 👀

Joker500

RANDY PEREZ

Psycho pass for sure

Deshawn Smith

Bungi Stray Dogs or Great Pretender

Anonymous

Magi the kingdom of magic, it has the hype of haikyu. Plus is on Netflix

Life Legacy

BUNGOU STRAY DOGS OR KAKEGURI

Anonymous

Hajime no Ippo definitely. A very popular boxing anime (one of the longest running til date) If you think Haikyuu hypes you like crazy, HNI will have you busting ALL KINDS. Trust me!!!

Pedro Barrera

Maybe between the series you add, add the rest of code geass season 1 and season 2, outside of that right now I don't remember now, I will type when I remember one

Lulucho

Code Geass

OVERLORD!! Its really interesting to follow an 'evil' protag

i personally think you should do berserk i think you’ll love the story development a lot but it is a lot to handle. I know there is a lot of shows people are recommending but i hope you’ll think about this one, cause i think you love it

Pedro Barrera

Of course, just if you want to

Ace of the diamond

What kinds of shows do you prefer? Something plot-heavy, a comedy, lots of fights, etc? Don't wanna suggest a genre you're not interested in

New anime blood of Zeus

Bungou Stray Dogs or Konosuba(more of a comedy)

Xandanx

Fuck it might as well start kuroko no basket

Matthew Clark

I think you’ll love ace of diamonds since you like haikyuu so much, similar themes but with an insane amount of detail about the game, you actually learn a lot about baseball, very emotional it’s a great pick

Anonymous

I think a more real and good plot would be 91 days, very UNDERRATED. Also dororo has a really good serious tone and story to it.

Log Horizon

Krypto

Konosuba or unlimited blade works, I think unlimited blade works is amazing

Oxbox

Mob Psycho if you haven't seen it, maybe Ping Pong if you want another sports anime (but with a very different character approach)

OverthinkerJay

Baccano! Those who are familar may feel it's a random suggestion but I feel its a classic in its own right with the job the English dub did.

Anonymous

If you haven't seen it yet and don't mind watching a comedic parody, Dragon ball Z Abridged

Xandanx

He’s reacted to all of it, look at his old posts

Anonymous

I think going to Food Wars would be cool too! A new kinda show.. if not then you can try RWBY (it's an american anime but the fight scenes are LIIIIT) or BLue Exorcist

Erased

JoeyDMT

Kengan ashura its good my guy

More haikyuu or until you catch up since season 4 is absolute FIRE. Or if you looking for something similar i would definitely recommend Ace of Diamond definitely a great watch.

Roger Metheny

Hajime no ippo its a classic. long running boxing anime as hype or more than haikyuu.

MoonlightDragon

I definitely agree with 91 Days! It is unique and has a great plot that I think would interest you.

MoonlightDragon

I say 91 Days is one of my top picks for you. I would definitely like to see Code Geass continued, it is an amazing series! A few others would be Darwin's Game, and That Time I was Reincarnated as a Slime. Can't wait to see what you choose!

AKB

Berserk (1997), Gangsta, or ERASED

MyNameIs

Since you said series, I'm assuming you are not just referring to anime, so I recommend "THE SPY." One of the best series on Netflix. - Also, it's just 1 season with 6 episodes.

I agree you should watch unlimited blade works its absolute god tier animation done by ufotable, also takes place after fate/zero from the perspective of the kids. I know you love animation you'll love that forsure only one season aswell so it would be a quickie!

Azure

Is it wrong to pick up girls in a dungeon? I feel like you’ll like it. It’s about level ups and growing.

Death Parade

iTake_Shots

Sword Art Online. I know the show gets a lot of hate, but I personally think it’s one of my favorite animes not to mention this last season was HEAT!

iTake_Shots

The fate series is fire too. If you haven’t already Def watch Fate Zero! 10/10

Polygon

I for one, would love to see you mix it up and react to genres other than battle shonens so here are my picks: 1. Psycho-Pass-a psychological crime/mystery show set in a dystopian cyberpunk Japan. One of the classics from the past decade. Like Vinland Saga it's a Seinen anime, so it'd be very different from the usual battle shonen shows you watch (more emphasis on characters, themes and dialogue than fights and friendship) but I'd love to see your reactions to a darker, grittier more mature show. Also features one of the GREATEST anime villains of all time and my personal favorite villain in any medium. 2. Death Parade- A massively underrated, overlooked anime. The synopsis is hard to detail w/o spoiling the premise revealed in the first episode, but it focuses heavily on the "good" and "bad" of humanity and how (if at all) those actions can be judged. Lots of grey morality to ponder and think about. It's only 12 eps so it's a quickie and most of the show is episodic save for a few small arcs. Again, not a battle shonen.

AKB

A non animated series that has 50min episodes: 3%, it is in Portuguese but it has English subtitles. Really good, lots of twists and turns.

All Are Super Good But Kuroko No Basket And Hajime No Ippo Would Be Epic They Has Great Moments

Ace Overton

I fully agree with Food Wars AND RWBY. I think the story of how RWBY came to be, and the yearly improvement from a side project to a full on A tier american anime that's loved in Japan too, is pretty huge to take that journey. Plus he could watch the original four trailers to see if he would like it or not.

Helena Flores

Food wars, Dororo, yu yu Hakusho (if you haven't seen it), blood plus, magi, Noragami

Devil’s Advocate

I’m just gonna add this under here: if you do watch this (which would be my recommendation) you have to watch The Adventures of Sinbad (before or after doesn’t really matter).

Anonymous

Castlevania would be cool.

Helena Flores

I may have suggested too many....my bad 😅 they're all good though lol

Ace Overton

I would prefer that you watch something I think you will enjoy more than just what I would like to see. I think that you would find some of the following interesting. Sword Art Online (long series with an plot that spans and effects all the different seasons) RWBY (amazing series that was a side project that is now an American Anime that is accepted as part of Japanese Anime Culture, which speaks volumes to its overall quality) That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime - Interesting take on the Isekai anime genre that develops pretty quickly in amusing ways, plus keeps a great balance of humor and gravity with the story. Is it wrong to pickup girls in a dungeon? - Another amazingly well done story that I think you would grasp on a deep level and enjoy breaking done, similar to how you do Haikyuu. As far as sports anime, Hajime No Ippo is straight flame. It's a classic for a reason. the basketball one I haven't seen, but as you are a hooper I heard it's on the level near Haikyuu in sports quality.

Devil’s Advocate

Since I haven’t seen it recommended yet: That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime

Cody

More haikyuu lmao

Anonymous

I vote Food Wars!: Shokugeki no Soma. This series is hilarious and very inventive.

Pedro Barrera

Well, watching the votes i see that my code geass is going to be dead forever 😂, hope that the ones that win this is something that I didn't watch before hehe

You Know Anime Makes Everything Hyper So Just Think Super Hype Anime Basketball 🤣

Matthew Clark

Honestly if you wanna watch a shorter series and wanna get in your feelings. I recommend Erased.

Darius.

With everything I’ve seen from Adonis [please correct me if I am spelling that wrong] I’m surprised more folks aren't requesting “Log Horizon”, seems like the kind of person to really enjoy it. Here’s my List [a few have already been suggested]: “Log Horizon” (2013) “Black Lagoon” (2006) “Baccano!” (2007) “Noragami” (2014) “Overlord” (2015)

Klaas

Steins Gate is my choice.I think you'd like Assassination classroom, The time I got reincarnated as a slime and Magi as well.

Anonymous

I’m not even going to name anything lol I voted for mine though. But whatever is chosen ima watch it.
