The blue one looks great, the gradient fits so well with the logo. But the second has good contrast with the logo, honestly id be fine with both.

Honestly I'd say blue it blends better with the background looks more professional metal bar makes it look too out of place and gives off a cheap knockoff feel definitely go with blue

Also I'd add more Shadow behind the characters to add contrast and make them pop from the banner more darker shadows will give it more depth and really take it up a notch but be careful not to add too much or you could make it look flat

Gotta go with the black, for contrast. I would suggest that you could use the black with a blue gradient outline over the characters, or the blue with the black outline
