This season was masterpiece, very well written story, awesome characters, the main villain was Subaru himself, fighting with his demons and don't give up.

Seeing Subaru overcome his ordeals is everything re:zero is about, not many people catch that, if you look at every turning point for him (or save point) Subaru is fighting an internal struggle between a Sin and a Virtue, on the main story we see him choosing the Virtue and becoming a better person, but funny enough every year on Subaru's birthday the author publishes an IF story where Subaru chooses a Sin over the Virtue and how that changes the whole story, Bettelguse calling Subaru Pride is not fart-fetch since on one of those routes Subaru literally becomes the Sin Archbishop of Pride.
