There are things you missed , but in code geass there are not really misses. This anime is more made to be rewacthed than watched , cause sometimes they do completely random scenes of like 20 seconds , dropping a name or an info you don't know about and they explain it 10 episodes later. You caught that the laboatory where they experimented CC is in Narita. Something you didn't catch is the "radiant wave technology" they're suing on the guren mark II is something even Lloyd is impressed about and he said it was developped by a scientist called "Rakashata". So there is some scientists rivalry too. Lelouch vs Cornelia in terms of intelligence and leadership Kallen/guren M II vs Sukazu/lancellot in terms of pure battle skills Lloyd vs Rakashata in terms of science and tech
