They’re saying light speed because it’s light magic don’t let these people fool you 🤦‍♂️ If these characters are going “Light speed” then that means you can scale characters later on to be 500x the speed of light which is beyond ridiculous. This isn’t DBZ where characters can fly across galaxies WITH REAL light speed feats

they explained how yami coats his sword and uses reinforcement magic to strengthen and make him self faster because dark magic IS slow and that he is PREDICTING what licht would do using ki thus yami figuring out a way to still be able to keep up with licht in the cave plus yami also has the advantage being the natural enemy to light

i literally cant spoil anything its been proven by so many different feats and calculations that they are light speed at this moment asta isnt because he couldnt even see the light magic, again only could some what keep up is because of KI which PREDICTS thigns which gives them a big enough buff to keep up with the Light speed

licht literally traveled to the royal capital from near hage in a split second, we have someone els later on who does something similar but theyre literally there in a flash in a arc that lasted only one night meaning things were slowed down (like the chimera ant arc) we see a character nonchalantly fly over to the kingdom instantly back to back chapters(we saw that is took 15 minutes for the captains and such to get back to the capital when they got teleported away, yet wow this person just flew from further and got there in an actual flash lol), again you should read hungry joker its literally a shonen based on physics mid fight tabata still has this massively influenced in black clover he breaks down fights perfectly to explain how fast and strong things are, you saying adondis shouldnt listen to that authors word
