I feel like you fundamentally misunderstood Komugi's motivation. She doesn't play any harder when her life's on the line. Regardless of her life being on the line, losing means she loses everything, because she becomes garbage. It's easier to die than to be garbage to her, and that's why she bets her life. But regardless of if she did, or regardless of if her arm was on the line, she would play to win, because losing is game over, end of story.

When the secretary dude was lying on the bed, it pans across him and you can see the glass Palm came with is also lying on the bed, nearly empty with some of the liquid spilled on the bed, implying that there was a sleeping drug in it. So no, Palm didn't let him hit it.

I'll clarify a bit on Komugi getting nen. Remember back when the main cast was getting money for the auction? They found that art and what not made by extremely gifted artists had nen attached to it. They couldn't use it like the hunters do but they were able to tap into their latent power to better Express their passions. Komugi was already OP in the game but as the king gets better and better pushing her deeper and deeper into the greatest passion of her life forcing her to better use her genius at this passion she forced awakened her Nen. Now she has reached that Genius level with Nen fueling her already formidable passion and skill. Aka she pulled some Goku ultra instinct super saiyan further beyond shit on him and he is nut busting over it lol

Hey, dope reaction. I just wanted to say that you might of missed the explanation or forgot that they mentioned that a portal created can only be used once, and that a new exit has to be created. That's why he didn't use any of the portals he created in the palace.

Wing said the "traditional" way of awakening nen was through serous meditation, so Komugi could've used gungi as a focusing point for the meditation and because she's blind, every time she played gungi she would be unconsciously training to unlock her nen. Then it'd also make sense if her hatsu was gungi oriented becuase that's all she ever thinks about.

the ending sequence to 108 is one of my favorite scenes in anything ive ever seen. you nailed it man, this show is just straight up brilliant. i dont think i could describe it any better that that. awesome content as usual adonis you rock dude
