F.A.Q. How my Patron works (Patreon)

Patreon has a help center .  There you will find a lot of information that can be useful.

Each artist has their own rules that I strongly recommend you read before pledging your support. 

So, how does the Patreon of Colores Urbanos work?

I only publish free content on my Patreon once a month. Looks of the month are not available for free download. Look of the month is delivered privately on the 1st of each month.

 If you just want to make a promise to download content and leave then you will waste your time. 

When you first become my patron, you’ll make a pledge of the amount of money you choose.  You are not charged money on the day you pledge until the first of the following month.  For example, if you joined my Patreon on Nov 3rd, 2017, you would not get charged until Dec 1st, 2017.  You can rest easy with a peace of mind that no money will be taken from you until the 1st of each month.

 You are free to cancel your sponsorship any time you want.  Again, please keep in mind that Patreon will auto-charge your account on the 1st of every month so be sure to make your decision before then. 

I want to share my creations on Patreon with people who can help me financially.  This content would not exist without the help of my generous patrons. 

Once payments are processed correctly, I will provide a Google Drive download link through private message only. 

The people who pledged their support during the previous month will have access to the beta test version of the current month.  

I work in Patreon all month publishing photos of new creations.  I create surveys to encourage patron participation and show items that will be in the final catalog.  In this way, each of you can decide if you want to give me your support for the collection, or if you want to cancel your sponsorship and return next month.

Once you join my Patreon and your support is processed correctly, you will gain access to 2 total months of content: The current month you are paying for, and a “free” previous month of your choice. For example, if you pay for access to this month’s content then you can also request the content from August. 

Then, if you continue to support me during the following months, you will get the content of previous months one month at a time.  For example, if you become a patron in December then you can request the content of November.  Additionally, if you continue your support through January then you can request the content of October.  

In this way, you can eventually gain access to everything exclusive I have created for my patrons. 

If you want to gain access to my content immediately without waiting until the 1st of the month, or if you want to pay in advance for the current month then you can send the value of your pledge to paypal.me/ColoresUrbanos .  You MUST write me a private message advising me that you sent money to my PayPal.  If the name on your PayPal account is different than your name on Patreon then be sure to note that in the message.  In this way, I will be aware of your donation and send you the download link.

1. The most important change of this time, is that I have decided to deliver merged content.

On January 27 I made a publication entitled "Important information, that everyone should read before January 31"

giving them enough time, to read it and decide to cancel the pledge, in case of not agreeing. 

Apparently, my notice, appearing in the title, did not work, since I raise angry people, after paying and receiving merged files. Some of them even had 3 months of support and had the right to request individual files. the strange life...

On January 27, when I made the announcement, I made a big mistake. I did not give the explanations, why I made the decision to deliver merged files. (nobody asked either)

But here I want to explain it, maybe, the angry people. They can be a little more understanding and solidarity.

the concrete reason, is for my content, which is published on simfileshare, without my permission, without my desire.

I know that merging files will not prevent this from happening, but I'm sure it makes it more difficult. since my creations published there, they were always individual files, NEVER a merged file, which was always available in the download folder of each month.

I also realized that a person responsible for filtering my content, eliminated his pledge immediately after receiving rewards. therefore, I wanted to put the most difficult things, to have to support me 3 months before being able to obtain individual content.

And why do I do this? Why do I try to put the things more difficult for thieves?

Well, I suppose if you do not like to feel, outraged, raped, disrespected, trampled, stolen, attacked, mistreated. Me neither.

I consider myself the owner of the content I do, and with the right to share it with who I want. in this case, with the people who can support me economically. for me it is clear.

On the other hand, I'm here in patreon to offer exclusive content, when the content is filtered, it stops being exclusive, and I feel bad about myself, for not being able to fulfill what I promise. But I know that when I get to the computer of each of you, I can not control what they do with it. and I understand it.

2. I also have good news for my patrons!

patrons with 5 months of uninterrupted support, will have new benefits!

• They will have advance access to the content! this means. that the day I post beta test content request (10/15 day of each month). There will be final files for them. as the days go by, I will update content, therefore, they will have access before Patreon collects money. 
• if ever, any of them wants to keep the content and cancel the pledge, that's fine, there will be no problems, it will only lose the benefits. to accumulate 5 months of support again.
• Another benefit of giving me your support for 5 months, without interruption. is that you can download pledge to $ 3 and you will get full content anyway.
• inclusive, for 3 times a year, you can download pledge to $ 1 and you will get it too!

Support for 5 months, it's real time here in patreon. people who sent, once, money for paypal and got 2 months of content, will not be taken into account. neither will they be taken into account, people who paused their support. patreon statistics, tell me how many months of support you gave me, and how many months pause your sponsorship.

• Full access to recolors and extra content
• Packages are delivered on the 1st of each month. in 1 merged package
• You can send textures, when required. you can participate in some surveys, you can see all the publications of work in progress

• There will be special surveys for you, where you will help me make important decisions, about meshes.
