Restoring Gloria is a project I've been tinkering with for a few years now. It's been one I've where I see the pieces, but I can't quite make them fit. Most things I work on for this long fall into place, but not this one.

This was one of the inspirations for this patreon, to be honest. I've been workshopping it for so long and have had nothing to show for it. So here is the latest pass, cleaned up and organized, and released into the wild.

I hope you enjoy the ideas within, but I also hope you enjoy some insight into the process. How I organize my thoughts, how I follow threads to a point, and how I try to build things up. (And how I get hung up on the backstory when the focus needs to be the central narrative. Argh.)

Coming in from the bumblekast recording where I'm pretty sure this was the possible magical girl prompt you were talking about(?) I like it so far! And I think it absolutely counts as a magical girl story. I understand it's probably not where you want it now but I hope one day to see more of it. Thanks for sharing it!

I feel like if you did get a format down for this one that it'd do exceptionally well with the current trend of cartoons like Owl House and She-Ra - these cool female-driven narratives with lots of vibrant and distinct visuals. And I mean, who doesn't love sea-faring stuff? Love the plot-twist of Danni being the destined one and Shelly having to deal with that. Such a good source of ending development to show how much they've both grown over the story. And Donna would be very popular with me and people like me >.> ALSO "What are the beastmen up to?" is just a question that needs to be asked more in every day life.
