I've been wanting to ask about a better file management. I have a lot of files over time on there I would like to delete.

I've got "bundle the file manager plugin" on my TODO list that should hopefully cover that. It's been abandoned a while though and needs some love first.

On this topic, the ability to view "makes" of a given stored file (each make having its own notes) would be fab. I often have e.g. 5 versions of a design, then I make version 4 and I'm happiest with that. Then one year later I come back to re-print it but I can't remember which is the file I used etc.
