I have to admit, I did not see that week fly by. Between my day job, Yumi, Vivian and Veronica all attempting to pull me in their direction, fighting for my attention, this one has been jam-packed with more than enough to do!

I have prepared a store page for Hypnotized By My Assassin on Itchio. On it, I kinda dance around the point of the game, hesitant to go right out and say what it is about. I mean, that woman is out to off you, and she canonically succeeds, so...yeah. Perhaps I should make the Good Ending (where you survive) the canon ending? This might save the entire project from being shot down as too violent, I suppose. I wanted to work on the game a little before re-releasing it anyway. We'll see.

However I've spent most of my time this week writing for the next episode of Don't Flex On Me Yumi Chan! This one is all about hitting the gym with your best friend. Then hitting it again the next day. And also the next... You get the idea.

The more I write her dialog, the more I realize that Yumi has so much more emotions to communicate than what the basic character sprite set I commissioned allows. I will need to commission even more art for Yumi if I am to really give life to our fave little buff goth girl.

Unfortunately, it'll have to wait because the artist is currently busy working on a commission to deliver the second character for the game, that you will meet in Episode 04, according to my current planning. That fits with the typical harem anime season, right? The new girls are introduced in episodes 3 or 4, no? Am I off the mark?

How did you enjoy the minigame from The Bodyguard Girl 2? I still think I need to work on the build to make it as good as it can be, but it might be time to look to the future. I'm thinking of having a poll next week, just like last time, where I ask you who's the next victim for Vivian and what would you like to happen to them. So stay tuned for that.

Yesterday, the news broke out about Akira Toriyama's death. The man is a legend, and his work left a mark on the entire world, uniting us all in our love of shonen, no matter our background or origins. I can only dream of making a shred of the man's impact on society with my entire life's work. What an incredible body of work he left us.

Dragonball, especially, is an important work of fiction, and anybody who spent enough time with it will understand its themes of self-improvement, family and work for a better future that everybody can relate to. It's powerful stuff, really. Over 9000, at least.

Time passes. People get old. The bell tolls for some of us unexpectedly. Life is too short for hate and negative energy. Stay safe out there, will ya?
