As soon as you enter the casino, Hannah's face lights up. She seems genuinely happy to see you back, fully healed after your last night with her a few months ago. Behind that happy-go-lucky grin hides all the twisted ideas floating in her head of what she could do to you tonight, to celebrate your reunion.

Among other things, this week I've been giving some love to our good ole bunny girls. Multiple players have reported a severe issue where the Bunny Girls game bugs out in relation to choices during the private discussion the player can have with Hannah in the VIP lounge. So I've been trying to fix that.

Long story short : to make my life easier during production, I just copied over the same scene with Jazmine and edited it to insert Hannah instead. Turns out this might have been a bad idea and introduced a few errors here and there that have come to bite me in the ass.

My latest attempt to fix it, build 1.0.6, just erases the original scene with Hannah in favor of a new one, where I copied the dialogue but redid the entire logic behind the choices. Hopefully, this fixes everything, because if it doesn't, I am running out of ideas fast.

Apart from that, you might have seen earlier this week that I released a new version of my latest title Don't Flex On Me Yumi-Chan!!! that contains animated CG images. Although I am slightly dissatisfied with the results of the animations (that I did myself with the tools I have available), I figure it's good enough for now.

I swear, I gotta get my hands on Live2D, one of those days. But that thing is expensive, dang it. Until then, I will try my luck with free alternatives, such as Pic2Jelly (used for the Yumi CGs), AnimeEffects, etc.

And that's it. Going back into Visual Novel Maker to work on the Bunny Girls and the Bodyguard 2 is a funny feeling, now that I am growing more accustomed to Ren'Py. Both softwares have their pros and cons, but the bottom line is that Ren'Py generates a much more stable game build in the end, and it saves me a lot of headaches.

The thought crossed my mind to re-create The Bodyguard Girl 1 in Ren'Py for my (vaguely) planned Director's Cut. This could be fun, since it's a much simpler game in dire need of some love and attention. We'll see, or as I like to say, we'll cross the bridge when we get to the river.

Until then, stay safe out there!
