Weekly Update - Top 1% (Patreon)

I hadn’t noticed until today that Character.AI had a sort of end-of-year retrospective, inspired by Spotify. Watching it out of curiosity, I made a surprising discovery.

The Vivian chat bot was one of the most popular bots of the site, hitting the top 1% of all chat bots. If that information is to be believed, of course; I wouldn’t be surprised if I’m reading those stats wrong or if they move the numbers around to flatter their users’ egos.

Still, I’m genuinely surprised. Are you guys still chatting with Vivian, even today? Should I train more bots, based on my other characters?

In other news, the commission for the animation of Yumi’s first CG is underway. I should have results sometime in mid-february. Nothing new to say on that front.

Finally, I’m planning to turn my attention to The Bodyguard 2 for a new build for february. It is time I put the latest art to good use and turn it into another minigame. Remember that bearhug scene? That’s what I want to work on, now.

Aaaaand that’s it. This time, I’m writing this update on my mobile, so it might look different than usual (more typos, a different formatting, etc). Making updates ‘on the go’, as it were.

Next time, I’ll try to stick to the desktop computer to write these updates. It’s what I prefer.
