A mysterious girl has been following me all day at a distance. I couldn't figure out what she wanted from me...that is until I found myself with her thighs around my head!

Is this how you greet an old friend? What is wrong with you???

The time is ALMOST upon us! I am finishing writing the first 'episode' of my new game Don't Flex On Me, Yumi-chan!!!. I am unsure if I clearly stated it before, but I am planning on writing this game as if it was an anime series, with each part separated into distinct 'episodes'.

Of course, the overarching story will be continuous and logical, but separated into 'bite sized' episodes each with their own smaller story arc that will see a conclusion. And thus, the first episode is almost complete.

Unfortunately, the CG scene I am teasing in this update's screenshot won't be animated, at least not now. I am readying the material for the animation commission and it will be made available as soon as it is ready and implemented.

So far, I'm really digging the vibe of my work for this new game. I'm going for a more 'slice of life' tone, even injecting more of myself into the story, going back to my teenage / early twenties era for inspiration into writing a romantic comedy.

For the phenomenal art, I am working with Chayon (who doesn't appear to have any social media presence, sorry for only linking to their Fiverr account). I am very excited by their work so far, it looks very professional and very 'classic anime' in its look, which should please most of you. For once, I am not forcing y'all to like an artist with a style too extreme that I fell in love with on my own. Haha.

To be honest, that's kinda it. No other news, really. I've been too busy teaching myself Ren'Py to really do anything else. On this matter, it is going well. I am only using the very basic functionalities of Ren'Py, but I am picking up speed when it comes to writing the actual game itself. The scenes really fly by faster, I only waste time on the visual effects and every other bells and whistles.

The release of The Bunny Girls game on Steam went well, all things considered. To give you an idea of how my games perform on the platform, since its release it made close to 700$ USD in revenue so far (for about 120 copies sold or so), so it is recouping the investment slowly but surely. That is not a 'success' on Steam by any metric. I just scrape by, basically.

Aaaaand that's it. The sudden changes in weather over where I live is giving us a pretty wild winter, and it has created scarily long icicles hanging from my roof, that I can see clearly in the window of my office. I am scared that when the weather will be warmer, they might fall while I am hanging out in my backyard and impale me to death. As if I needed any more reasons to NOT go out.

Next week you'll get a first build of the game starring Yumi-chan. I hope you are all looking forward to it. It's been a loooong time coming. Until then, stay safe out there!
