Writing has been my passion, and for 2+ years, my livelihood. Through Patreon, I've managed to earn enough to live paycheck to paycheck. However, despite my best efforts, it's not sustainable.

The reality is, keeping this way of living is becoming increasingly hard, especially with my family's financial situation becoming less stable. To be able to keep moving forward, I need to double my income by the end of this year. If I can't reach that goal, or (God forbid) if my family's circumstances takes a turn for the worse, I will have to take part-time or full-time employment outside of writing.

Given these uncertainties, I've decided to disable annual payments. I can't make promises that I'll be capable to dedicate as much time and energy into writing by 2025 as I am right now.

No matter what happens, I promise to give the proper shout-outs in advance. Your support has been invaluable to me, and I'm truly grateful.

Keeping all my fingers crossed,

Rav.

Rough to hear considering the quality of you work but understandable. Honestly I would think at this point your issue is more marketing then quality

I'm open to any ideas. Currently I already have an ad campaign up and running in RR, am posting in scribblehub, and am avoiding going to Amazon because they demand stubbing your story (if you don't, they just curb-stomp its chances to sell). Personally, from what I've seen so far, a story's popularity requires a certain minimum of skill, but otherwise relies entirely on whether the idea smacks hard enough. Just look at "The Flesh is (not) weak" VS "Aetherfall"
