Summoning mahgora is not a weapon megumi has, summoning it is a suicide pact with whoever is nearby during the summoning, megumi did not expect to survive this whole thing. As for Sukuna I'm pretty sure his goal is to break yuuji mentally so he can't keep him suppressed anymore, hence the theater when he gave back control. It's kinda wild to think this but I'm pretty sure mahgora could've beaten every cursed spirit in shibuya on its own, I'm pretty sure Sukuna was the only thing that could beat him, gojo is a toss up since we know it killed his gifted ancestor in the past
