Did you see that Roger crew find baby Shanks the same way, he find baby Uta (in a tresor chest) ?

2023-10-08 00:33:25 So to explain the whole situation regarding the final twist (i.e., Uta knowing the truth), the thing was that she found that out after she began career as a famous singer/diva. After Shanks “abandoned her”, Uta tried to fill that void he left in her heart with her fans, she also vented her frustration with Shanks by way of basing her whole brand/diva persona on her hatred of pirates (Shanks and the Red-Haired Pirates in particular) and their actions (i.e., the plundering and the pillaging). According to a chronological table Oda wrote of Uta's character for the film red staff, upon learning the truth, Uta’s mind was essentially fractured in two (which is represented in her twin hair colors). There’s Uta the diva, who hates pirates and the harm they’ve caused and wants to bring about a new era through her “New Genesis” (represented by her white hair that covers her eye), and the real Uta who’s still that 9 year old girl that Shanks left behind and while still angry at him, desperately wants to reunite with her adoptive father.

for the Movie. Shanks only came to rescue Luffy and his powers. I still believe that Shanks will be the final enemy for Luffy to defeat XD

I'm normally not one to cry when watching anime, movies, etc... but the ending song really got me. I watched this in the theater and didn't shed a tear, but really getting to fully immerse myself made the emotions all the more stronger. Oda, I tip my hat to you sir.

This was one I was waiting forever to see and it delivered. I did not expect it to end so sad. The music was brilliant. And Im pretty sure the end credits were Cover Story pages adapted with added Uta charm. So you can consider them canon. Nothing really crazy they were just showing what the characters were up to. Like showing Bon Clay was alive and took Ivas place in Impel Down for example. But here they added that they were listening to the Utas music which is a real nice touch.

This movie made me an Ado fan XD she's the singer for Uta's voice. Turns out that Oda was a fan of hers and wanted her specifically to sing for the movie! How rad is that?! Loved to see the moment between Usopp and Yasopp too <3 I've saved the entire soundtrack to my playlist :D
