Could LUFFY BE JOYBOY? I had that thought once back at Fishman island when it was discussed.  If that were to happen Idk how I would feel because I feel like a lot of animes/movies do this where a normal MC turns out to be someone of greater prophecy and tbh sometimes its good sometimes it feels a bit too much. 

I feel like ODA would do something to mislead us though so right now I think maybe we might consider it but that is probably what Oda wants us to question xD

The one thing I think we all know is is that Joy Boy , The will of D, the One Piece and the missing history is all connected with Luffy some how the only question is how the pieces fit all together and where will it lead too

In this episode Oden said Joy boy wrote an apology letter and in the episode with the Oden flashback when they were on laugh tale, Roger said something like he wished he was alive back when joy boy was alive. With this information I think Luffy can't be joy boy but have his will, like sabo got ace's will.

the real question is how does Kaido know of Joy Boy? Like the only reason we know of him is because of Robin and Oden who read that poneglyph. So it makes me wonder how does Kaido know of this information when the WG has done everything to get rid of all of the informations about Joy Boy

To be fair, Orochi's devil fruit is the Yamata no Orochi which was an eight headed snake. It was commonly expected for him to come back since he only had a single head cut off at first.

Orochi had the hydra fruit. it was obvious that cutting his head off wouldn't kill him. The whole plot of the hydra story is that you can't kill it by cutting off a single head.
