When Waver first met Rider he told him to use the grail to grow another 30 cm. During F/Z he was 157cm(5ft 1.7) and at the end of F/SN he was 186m(6ft 1) which is almost exactly 30 cm.

After you're done with Heaven's Feel, it would be interesting to see you react to Fate/Grand Order for a more adventerous type feel with more fantasy elements. Feel like you would really enjoy it.

Fateful Grand Orders

First and foremost, thank you for your reactions to Fate! So the mobile game you mentioned is Fate/Grand Order. I play it religiously, but be warned: it is a gacha game. I do know of people that can get through it without having to spend a dime, but people do accuse it of being "pay to win" for a reason. If you don't mind that aspect of it though, I will say it has some of the best storytelling I've ever come across. There are anime adaptations, but imo, they really just serve to enhance the story that players already know. You can still enjoy them, but they leave out a lot. It's almost like watching Avengers Infinity War while only watching half of the previous MCU films. As for where to go from here: *Fate/Stay Night: Heavens Feel - There are three movies and as others have mentioned before, while they do have a lot of the same characters and it shares some of the same plot points of UBW, it's set in a different universe. It also features some of the best fight scenes in anime. I really feel like UFOtable took what they learned here and applied it to Demon Slayer. Also, not to spoil it too much, but there are characters that get a lot more spotlight here than they did in UBW. *Today's Menu for the Emiya Family - These are 13 twelve minute episodes that I mentioned a few weeks ago. You seem to like the more light-hearted moments of UBW (like Sunny Days). Well, this is basically UBW, but instead of fighting, everyone just wants to have a good ole' time cooking. And if that wasn't enough to draw you in, ya boys Lancer and Archer get some really good moments too. Warning: don't watch this on an empty stomach. *Fate/Apocrypha - 25 episodes. This seems like it gets a bad rap, but I really enjoyed it. Then again, it also stars my favorite servant too so maybe I'm a bit biased. It's set in a completely different timeline. Don't expect to see many familiar faces here. This Holy Grail War has a pretty interesting twist to it and some of the fight scenes (especially at the end) are almost on part with UFOtables stuff. That should cover up a good chunk of the Fate-verse. If you choose to dive deeper into the franchise, I will certainly keep watching your reactions!

I do think fate/babylonia is still enjoyable regardless of game knowledge assuming you watch episode 0 to get the premise. Also its fun seeing gilgamesh in his time period. Otherwise I do agree that playing the game will for sure be more in depth with the story and whats going on.

Cowfriend

they didnt make it as clear in the anime that shirou went further then archer just know that he went futher

cameron

Fate movies are another timeline for UBW. They are arguably better than both of the shows.

Shogun_Adrian7

First off, WOW what a great way to end of Fate UBW it was really enjoyable watching it together with you Jamie. Definitely looking foward to the Heavens Feel movies I, II, and IIIin the future!!!!

Skebaba

This, Apocrypha deffo has one of the most robust Servant rosters IMO (also has best grill in it so deffo a must). Also yea Babylonia I enjoyed quite heavily despite not having played GO (fuck Japan for not adding EU already smh). Then again I'm someone who gets absorbed into lore & am an avid reader of history/mythology, so maybe that's just my cup of tea regardless of game knowledge or not?

your reactions were great for this Jamie! im glad you liked this so much that you want more, but unfortunately this is the last of this with these characters in this timeline unless you count "Today's menu for the Emiya family" its a slice of life very feel good anime. but if you just want more fate in general theres the Heavens feel movies, fate Apocrypha and fate grand order absolute demonic front babylonia. theres a lot more fate out there!

Fateful Grand Orders

That's fair. It's just that I've seen at least one reactor who didn't play FGO watch it and she was pretty confused about the story. But then, she did seem to enjoy it regardless. I suppose if someone had to choose an FGO adaptation, Babylonia would probably be the best (and the first movie too of course). I guess I just feel like the other Fate animes are a bit more consistent maybe?

Sharknessa

I would ask her to watch El Melloi II Case Files first before watching Apocrypha, but I would also like her to see Apocrypha at some point!

Sebastián Ugarte

If you want to laugh a little with these characters I recommend you watch the "Carnival Phantasm", they are OVAs in which Type-Moon mixes and puts in ridiculous and hilarious situations the characters of its two main franchises (Fate and Tsukihime). Most of us who haven't played Tsukihime miss some jokes, but it still has no waste.

Really enjoyed these last parts, saber being back <3 The other fate animes arent made by UFO-Table, so they kind of feel like spin offs lol i watched fate/acrophobia , in this one theres a Red vs Black team. Each side has their own sabers/beserkers etc... some cameos of characters we know but in an alternate timeline/dimension .. Like Marvel with spiderman / doc Strange...

BuddyBigs

Wooooo that was a great ride! Can't wait to see you start the Heaven's Feel movies! Just- take this comment now as a warning before watching them 😅. They're- a bit depressing but they're all absolutely gorgeous. As for more- I've seen people recommending Fate/Apocrypha... YES I think you'll love several characters in that one. There's one in particular that I think you'll be head over heels for 😇

animefan1

i hope one day you react to Fate/Apocrypha

StrawhatArcher

What a ride it's been rewatching UBW with you. That guy Shirou met in the clocktower was Waver from Fate/Zero. Hard to believe isn't it? I also wanted to see more of what happens after. I agree with you, there is so much potential for a spin-off series focusing on Shirou and Rin at the clocktower like a slice of life. I'm still upset Ufo gave us a handshake at the end lol. Could've gave us at least 1 kiss scene, but no. Also when are you reacting to the OPs and EDs? I also grew attached to this cast of characters. Well next is the Heaven's Feel movies. You're going to enjoy them.
