I basically did this for fun.  I don't know if I will ever have time to watch Boruto since there are over 200 ep now.  But I wanted to check out the Openings since I heard they were good.

If you just watch the manga canon got boruto then you will be able to get caught up quick and enjoy a lot of it as well

I dont know if there are any equivalent of one pace for Boruto. But if it exist then you should consider. Watching through filler is really annoying but it gave every character backstory and development. The manga is better pace wise but they throw that out of the window

I feel like if you were to start at the Kawaki arc, you should be fine. Loved that arc, though. I'm glad I stuck with it through the mostly filler stuff because that was fire!

I think you really shuld react to the Black Clover Openings. Not only are they are one of the best but it maybe push you over the edge to watch it XD And even if not the Openings are really worth to watch.

If you aren't really committed to watching the anime. I myself am not, only certain arcs. Then just read the manga. Manga is pretty good right now

For you, I'd say waiting until Part 1 of Boruto is close to done is ideal.(So maybe a year or two from now) And then ask the fans for a rec'd list for what episodes to watch that adds to the story or are really fun. Don't ask for what's canon because the Boruto anime is doing it differently where it considers all its episodes canon. This way you can cut the bloat out but make sure to say that you like episodes like where Sasuke tries to be a dad to Sarada so fans know not to cut the wholesome/funny stuff out.

kana boom that sang the op 1 for boruto also sang sillioute which u said is ur fav naruto shippuden op. also kawaki appearance made the show so much better. i hate boruto too because i found him to be annoying. kawaki is a cool character though and even filler eps with him in it makes it enjoyable.

I'm okay with Boruto as a character but yeah, I agree that Kawaki is amazing and really gave the story that bit of oomph that i needed

Im a Big Fan of Naruto and Naruto Shippuden but Boruto cant compete with them because there are so many Episodes that are just no Hype for me. They even feel Like Fillers to me even they arent. I was like how many great fights Naruto Shippuden had even on the first Like 250 Episodes, and here on Boruto its like, ok there was this fight and this and thats it. There are really good episodes in it, but the most of them are not good in my opinion. Oh look another story mission where they try to hunt a cat and let weak noname enemies appear for some episodes just to make a episode out of it . You can skip those episodes and you miss nothing . If you really want react to Boruto maybe search someone who pick the important good episodes and you react to them. Because i can tell you that you will not enjoy Boruto if you watch all these filler like episodes. But if you only watch the Important Episodes i feel Like you rlly could enjoy it.

Opening 7 and opening 8 really take refrences to some of the openings from Naruto and Shippuden and I really like that. While I don't really like the anime (Too much anime original stuff that honestly isn't that good compared to the manga) but Boruto as a series is really picking up and I do enjoy reading the manga. While I wouldn't like rush anyone to see or read it I say if you ever have time maybe see some episodes or read some chapters and see how you like it.
