Jotaro is old now huh? If only he trained his stand more.

Florin

It's not even about that. Jotaro by himself is invincible, just like White Snake said. His weakness is his daughter, and the 2 enemies made sure to use it to the maximum.

Florin

Regarding the scene where she falls, it's quite funny. He didn't try to grab her hand, he just wanted to grab the charm. He also didn't extend his hand to help her get back up, he was just returning the charm to her xD He was a quite cold father to her, but ultimately he still put her well being above his even if it meant being attacked by the enemy stand. The enemies were also smart about the whole situation. Since no one can defeat Jotaro, just carefully target his family to make him sacrifice himself.

Jolyne spinning a blind guy has to be one of the most ruthless things I’ve seen💀

Jotaro's personality weakness is his inability to show empathy clearly despite him being pretty caring. He has that stoic thing about him that makes it hard for him to show his feelings directly. Also Jotaro is older so his stand probably has gotten weaker too. In part 4 he could only time stop between 3-4 seconds.

James Gibson

In part 3, Jotaro's quest was to save his mom. Now he's the damsel in distress to his kid.

There’s a fan theory going around that Jotaro has autism. He displays a lot of common symptoms of having it such as not being able to properly understand a persons sadness or anger such as with Jolyne in this episode. He also barely expresses himself physically and verbally and rarely gets into conversations, which is why he has an unhealthy relationship with his daughter since he very rarely expresses his feelings through words. He also hates loud noises such as the girls in part 3 and 4 constantly bickering made him angry. These are all common traits with people with Autism spectrum disorder, although he obviously hasn’t been confirmed or denied to be autistic as it is just a theory lol.

That could be it. Especially because he even questions what she is doing when she is reacting so angrily at him. And in the end when he finally is able to express his feelings more. It’s just so sad. 😔

Scott Brown

That could be it, but it seems like he acted like neurotypical person when he was younger (in Holly's flashback in episode 1 of part 3). That could've just been her thing of always seeing Jotaro in the best possible light though.

Carter Skjerven

As someone who is on the spectrum, I can totally see him being a high-functioning Autistic.
