Sinbad seems like some good-natured playboy king that doesn't think or worry about much, but in reality he is extremely smart and tactical. That's not to say that he's good or evil, but his methods are questionable. He put the princess in a position where she would get drunk so she would have less self-control, then got Jafar to draw away her friends so that she would be isolated, then he acted romantic to trigger her crush on him to make her feel really good, then he quickly ripped it away and left so that she would feel desperate for those feelings of love that she was just showered with. Feelings which probably aren't even real since it's doubtful Sinbad has any feelings towards her. He's literally manipulating her so that she is emotionally dependent on him like a drug, lol.
