When Ulti told Yamato that he/she needs to cherish family I half expected him/her to say, "Would you cherish someone who tried to kill you? Those shackles I wore all the time? My 'father' never hesitated to tell me that if I ever took them off or tried to leave that they would explode and kill me... and they did! If Luffy-san hadn't thrown them so far down the hall after taking them off I would have died! As far as I am concerned my father died in that explosion and Kaido is my mortal enemy!" Of course what she actually said makes more sense in hindsight as Yamato was in an "attack" mindset at that moment, whereas my imagined dialog would have instead come off as more defensive.

Toei deciding to play the same theme as when oden died when they attack kaido. Took like 2 minutes to cry in this episode eh.
