The facial expressions for both the main characters THE definite highlight of the show! They also stay very true to nanashi's (artist of the manga) style.

One thing I noticed here is that NagaToro seemed genuinely amused/ interested in Senpai's Manga Teasing him personally more than making fun of his work. But when the Red head boy was talking about his Artful music she had no interested saying she found no passion in it.

Nagatoro is all bark and no bite. She gets nervous when she gets into the awkward situation and laughs to brush it off.

I think the reason he tolerates nagatoro so much is because even if she is teasing him, her spending time with his is the closest he's probably ever had to a friend. But it could also partly be a fetish thing XD

Dont normally post but just wanted to say Im quite happy to see this reaction. I've read the manga for this and was excited to see it get an anime. I think they really did a good job style wise and the voice actor for Nagatoro is amazing. Hope you enjoyed it. Looking forward to watching it with you.

I would also say it's because he can feel that there isn't actually any hostility/maliciousness behind her teasing, in contrast to what he is used from bullies. She usually does it when they are alone (so he isn't publicly humiliated) and she really just teases him because she genuinely has fun doing so, the goal is not to actually hurt him and put him down, so when she thinks that she has gone too far she actually apologizes and shows that she actually cares for him as a person. Well sure she has some clear sadistic tendencies and he might have some masochistic tendencies but overall I would say that's just a small part of why that relationship actually works and isn't just her randomly bullying him.
