Hi guys sorry for the delay in uploads I have two Fairy Tail Reactions and Shield Hero (senpai tier) and AOT junior high (senpai tier). My Mac crashed during my export of aot junior high today.

I took it into Apple and they are going to fix my laptop ( I guess the fan stopped working so my computer started to overheat without being able to cool down )

Since I moved I planned on getting an actual PC now that I have the space but I don’t know much about them.

But I need to stop buying laptops because constant exporting is killing them. 😅

I’ll get my computer back tomorrow so I can finish exporting everything!!

If you have good PC suggestions or tips for building please let me know.

Some of my mods helped me in the past but any other PC people have tips please let me know!

Preferably one that is strong enough and fast enough for exporting. Exporting is my main use. Probably some gaming in the future too.

So what does this mean for FT this week? Are we gonna get double FT again for this week?

smf_frieza

Ft that hasn’t come out is still last week. So I guess x4 for this week. So none will be skipped. The next two will be posted tomorrow that I am behind on my computer just has been slowing down severely on exporting

smf_frieza

Aren’t most big gaming PCs windows right?

skiks

Custom computer is the way to go. An AMD ryzen based computer should do better when exporting videos.

Z-ONE

All I can say is get a gaming pc, cause those are built to be powerful and handle this sort of stuff. A normal dekstop pc won't be much better than a laptop.

smf_frieza

Yeah before at my old place I really wanted one but had no room. I spent $4k on my current Mac and it’s already gone to shit from me Exporting daily. 😖 I just need a super powerful computer that can export fast cause currently for Patreon reactions exporting takes around 4-5 hours again. Depending on if I do one or two ep

smf_frieza

Are there any known brands you’ve heard about that are ranked higher than others? I’m just cautious of what I get because that’s quite an investment

V

Try looking at the Asus mini pc proart. Its powerful enough to handle exporting video and doesn't take much room unlike most PCs

smf_frieza

Yes there will still be 2 FT reactions this week along with the last week ones I am behind posting

ohh

just build one. if you want some suggestions people will need to know the price range you're looking for. you can build a nice gaming pc though with as little as 200-400$ but you can also make ridiculous custom builds if you are willing to spend a couple grand . you can also buy shit prebuilts from places like https://www.nzxt.com/ that are slightly overpriced but will be good cpus for a couple years. its really if you want to build one yourself or not, some places will also build it for you after you order the components if they're all from their store or if you bring all the ordered parts that you've bought somewhere else but its not free, good luck choosing! just make sure its windows lol

Please look into PowerGPU on twitter, they make extremely clean quality builds and they make PCs for content creators all the time, they are among the best for getting a good price and are very transparent about the entire process. They also offer tech support for no charge from a couple reputable members. I’ve only had good experiences with them on my builds

Speziald

Probably you wouldnt ask then, but you got a irl Friend who could build it together? And how "ohh" said a price range would good to know too. It would be even the best if you have ONE Person who knows about it and which will help you cause here you have all different kind of knowledge (in good and bad) about it.

Speziald

Can support your Suggestion, ofc they have a WebSite too where she can contact them.

For content creation I think you'll want something with a ton of ram and a good graphics card so you can gpu render really fast. Also, I'd say it doesn't absolutely have to be custom built either, store bought computers can last a long time to especially if you're not overclocking. Also, they have the benefit of being built by pro's with a warranty if something goes wrong... "I turned it on and it fried" is a really hard sell if you were trying to build it yourself lol.

Graesin

This is probably the one time id suggest buying a custom prebuilt from one of the main build brands like nzxt because of the gpu shortage/scalping.

ZERO

As an apple user I’d suggest getting an IMac. It’s great for editing, watching is a huge screen, and so many other useful features

Speziald

Im not into those iMac/Mac scene so i dont really know the difference, but i will just quote SMF from a comment before " I spent $4k on my current Mac and it’s already gone to shit from me Exporting daily." xD i personally wouldnt trust them then either

So all the shonen going to be for senpai tier now? Seems the 1$ tier is useless now lol

There are sites where you can build your own custom pc. You basically choose the parts youself and they build it for you. A quick google search for "pc build for video editing" should give you some inspiration for the parts. What iwould look for is a Ryzen cpu since its good for video editing with its multi cores and one or two NVMe M.2 SSD´s.

Rudeus Greyrat

Lol since you got twitter clout your best option would be to hit up one of those professional pc builders on Twitter because they are more reliable and efficient than those websites like cyberpowerpc, because you can talk to the person directly through Twitter dms. 4k is way too much for a Mac. I've seen people do editing on a Mac, and then moving the exporting to a pc. But I just think doing editing and exporting would just be easier on 1 pc because it's not like you are doing some super professional editing.

I dont know how bad is in USA but now is the worst time to buy PC unfortunetly. GPUs are really hard to buy, also other components are expensive as hell and scalpers are selling things sometimes 200% of price. And for video editing solid machine is needed.

Hairy Potter

Oooo, 4 episodes FT, awesome! As for PC, you should focus more on getting a good GPU, and optimize other components from there.

Gavynnnnn

So, for one, I’d change to windows. You’ll always have more options on Windows with programs since it’s the default operating system for most PCs. Second, I’d have your PC either custom built or ordering the parts yourself. If you have even minimal knowledge of electronics, they’re not terribly hard to build, and it’s much cheaper to build it yourself. If you build it yourself, you can get an extremely great PC with a ton of SSD storage for maybe $1,200? I might be overshooting that too.

Simple tip from me is: buying pre built is ok, because you can go to where you bought it if you have problems and they can fix it for you, building it yourself, while yes its a fun and great experience, you need to find the problem yourself and search how to fix it or buy a new part entirely

Rudeus Greyrat

thats why the best way is to pay for one of those twitter people who build pcs for celebrity's to build one for you because they got connections or pay for a prebuilt at those sites

Now is a very bad time to build a PC. Everything is out of stock or the prices are inflated due to COVID. Building a PC in and of itself is not difficult, as now adays hardware companies manufacture PC components with assembly in mind. A youtube video from any of the big channels should guide you through that. Its basically lego but for adults. Choosing components is the difficult part and that will require a lot of research on your part. Youtube videos, reddit, google, etc. As someone else mentioned, no shame in buying a prebuilt (infact it might be more favorable with COVID destroying the supply), but if you have the time and patience to build your own I totally recommend it. You'll understand and be able to trouble shoot your system a lot better. Moreover, its just really fun and you get awesome bragging rights! Good luck!

Joni Newgate

wow 2 days and nothing yet, promises broken once again, oh wait....this isn't new right? How many times has it already happened lol, I've lost count by now

Ray

What a crybaby you are! she said "Yes there will still be 2 FT reactions this week" and "I’ll get my computer back tomorrow so I can finish exporting everything". None of these imply that fairy tail will be released in the next 2 days. it means it will be released anytime by the end of the week because exporting takes too long. and even IF she misses a fairy tail reaction by the end of the week, she still explained her situation and that her current PC is potato so crashes are to be expected. Last time you started crying about her not releasing a reaction and guess what! 2 of them got released back to back. so please stop being a cry baby and sit down and wait.
