Jujutsu Kaisen is so fucking good. Im nearly caught up on the manga and I will just say this much. We are in for a few years of an amazing anime (as long as they dont pull a Tokyo Ghoul or Promised Neverland).

Monster Zero

I agree both is example of how to not make an anime Akami ga kill made the same mistake I believe .

i don't think maki is missing mai's point, remember maki can't even see curses or use any power, she also struggle but she had a goal while mai was ok just been average. maki just wants something better for herself

That sword draw technique that girl does with the circle appearing around her is 100% the same thing as in Overlord (Brain Unglaus I think) when Shaltear caught it.

Reminds me more of hunter x hunter samurai dude

Hmm, I kind of like that there wasn't a resolution between the sisters after the fight even though it is sad.

One thing about Maki and Mai’s situation is that when Mai asked her “why couldn’t you stay at the bottom with me?” What she’s asking her is why didn’t you stay with the clan as a servant. Their clan sees people who didn’t inherit the clans curse techniques as useless and Maki, who can’t even see curses or use cursed energy was seen as the lowest of the low. Yes, it’s sad that she left her sister behind, but I think it’s what makes their dynamic as sisters work so well. Mai would have been fine just being a servant because for her it wouldn’t have been as bad as someone who at least has a technique and some curse energy, whereas Maki basically got tired of being treated like a subhuman waste of space and decided to prove them all wrong. I think it’s selfish of Mai to ask her sister to live a life of submission to people who truly don’t care about her at all. And I don’t even think that’s a bad thing for the story, Mai just needs her sister and I think it’s one of the really cool things about the story of JJK. There isn’t a cut and dry solution, it’s complicated and messy, just like real life.

Nothing wrong w/ being average. As Nanamin put it, "Sorcerers are shit"

Nobara is pretty much an Area Control specialist, specifically

Did you already replaced Redo of a Healer with another anime or will you make a suggestion poll again?

Jordan McDonald

I think Mai’s big issue with Maki boils down to her not involving her in her life. Like Maki resolved herself to focus only on her own personal growth probably not even noticing Mai’s suffering. Like Mai said Maki doesn’t even know that much about her anymore not even her cursed ability.

Cautious Hero would be cool

I have a twin brother and we are very close and were always together but i would not want him to sacrifice his dreams and goals because im afraid of being lonely or scared. Its seems like Mai just wanted to stay frozen in time and wanted Maki to be stuck there with her. And also Maki accomplishing a lot might put pressure on Mai to do better but she should use that as positive fuel to also become the best version of herself or if not she should ignore what others expect of her and do what she loves and makes her happy. I do feel bad for Mai but i think Maki is doing the right thing by going off and working hard for her goals. I dont read the manga so i dont know but i feel like Maki leaving the clan and wanting to go on her own journey to become the next clan leader has something to do with making a better life for Mai. Just guessing but i feel like its a possibility.
