Pandora was scary, but the moment she just rewrote everything that was going on with Corneas she immediately jumped to the highest level of terrifying.

Also to answer your question to why Emilia was terrified to take the trial, it's because what she was seeing she couldn't remember. Her pact with Puck to seal her memories made it so she can't understand what is going on or the people she is seeing in her trial because her memories are sealed. The only thing she can feel when seeing these people is a sense of immense sorrow. It made finishing the trial impossible before.

-The OG Ryuzu/Sanctuary flashback happens when Echidna is alive, so at least 400 years ago. -New character Pandora, witch of vanity. Vanity was originally one of the sins before they were narrowed down to 7. She apparently has some type of status in the witch's cult as she hands out the titles and Corneas addresses her with -sama. -When Fortuna attacks Pandora, she is pissed and tells Pandora to apologize to Emilia's parents. Some beef there for sure. -In the timeline when Subaru gets possessed, Emilia kills Petelguese's last finger. After she kills him she starts crying, probably not realizing exactly why since she hadn't remembered. I feel like that's what the trial was like for her without her memories, just feeling gutted but not knowing why. -When Guese takes the sloth witch factor he ends his sentence with desu, something we know him doing as the crazy Petelguese. -Right before Guese takes the sloth witch factor, he apologizes to Flugel. Flugel is actually a character we have heard of before. Flugel is the one who reportedly planted the giant tree that they fought the White Whale around. Seeing as he used -sama when addressing him, Guese may have known Flugel personally at some point.

What do you mean? Emilia's is about 100 years ago. Ryuzu's is about 400 years ago.

BTW as per the concept art, Pandora has no underwear whatsoever, the only thing she wears is that piece of cloth. So it's highly likely Regulus got a nice view when he was stuck in the ground, given the head angle etc
