I want see more of Julius and Subaru in the future, they seem like they’d be good friends. also I like Emilia but it still stings to see Subaru say what rem said to him to Elf girl lol. On another note, any plans to watch the ova and the movie? Even if you don’t react to them, they’re still a nice little watch

Never cared for this finale. The show has its moments for sure but a number of times I'm left feeling somewhat entertained on the first watch through but anything after that becomes very boring.

Definitely watch the OVA and movie! The OVA is very fun, and both (especially the movie) adds to Emilia's character, yet lots of reactors skip both.

well emilia BARELY knows who subaru even is, its more normal she didnt fall in love with him at the moment ( its why i dont ship rem it feels forced even if its cute) , and also a very good explanation behind emilia, like shit if helping a girl out = getting with her i should have at least 60 wifes by now

i feel like she should just watch season 2, THEN the ova/movie since lets be real we all rather watch her react to season 2 then those two until shes done first half of season 2

Episode 24: The scene where the kids say they want to ride with Emilia is so precious, I love it. Emilia's cloak has a spell that prevents recognition, you can see the flashbacks of her wearing it a lot when she is with Subaru. Considering the crap she has to face it makes sense that she has that cloak. Betelgeuse is so dramatic. From Subaru buttering him up, to him creepily flying, I just think he always takes the scene he is in. Another one of my favorite endings, Julius calling Subaru his friend. What else is there to say, love seeing how everyone's attitude changes towards Subaru. Good to see them in a different light. Episode 25: Julius is such a bro. As he stabs Betelgeuse, he's like 'yeah Subaru did this'. It's very brief, but Otto has the ability to hear and talk to animals and plants. Which comes in super clutch. I think Betelgeuse actually is a great villain cause he is what Subaru could have become. In love with the idea of doing something for love. Similar to Emilia, the witch rejects Betelgeuse, but he still presses on. 'for love'. Btw, Subaru wrote 'the end' or something like that in Betelgeuse gospel. The gospel is like a vague telling of future events. I consider it symbolic, but some people do theorize it might not be. While I still think Rem is best girl, the last scene is precious. It's really sad to see how low Emilia's self esteem is due to her resemblance of the witch. I also think Subaru rips off a bit of Rem's speech lol. I really love that Subaru stays true to himself and Emilia doesn't just immediately fall in love with Subaru, even if she appreciates Subaru's feelings. There were a lot of points they could have ended it, but I think that's the best they could have left it considering the circumstances. The show had the potential to never get a season 2, so it's good to end at a satisfying part. Also I really do thing 'That's what the story is all about' Subaru struggling for his happy ending in this brutal world. Can't wait for you to continue onto season 2. I personally think Season 2 is better, but it's definitely more confusing so you'll have to have some patience for it.

No trust me, frozen bonds is very important. Season 2 part 2 will reveal why, so it’s an absolute must watch. Memory snow is not important as it’s just a fun episode but people want her to watch that as well.
