I do like my vampire anime other great ones would be Hellsing Ultimate, Blood Lad and Blood+ with Hellsing being my favorite out of these.

This series throws quite a lot at you in the beginning. I felt like I wasn't really keeping up at times. With that being said, It also felt a bit slow at times, but somehow i managed to binge watch this a few months back, just in time for the latest season. I couldn't exactly tell you what got me hooked, but before I knew it, I couldn't stop watching. I love the characters in this anime.
