Hey guys another annoying update. I’ll try to get videos out this weekend however I just had to recently switch out my modem for a new one that Spectrum gave me and have been struggling to upload anything. Reaching out to them right now. Hopefully this weekend they can fix this since they made me send my old one back.



I am honestly stressed to the max with how stupid this internet situation is.... like come on spectrum. 😭😭. It honestly took me 2 hours just to run this internet test.

Keep in mind I pay for 20mbps upload.

🥺why can’t the internet just work.

When this is all over, try your best to switch to a different service provider. I had the default Spectrum router for the longest time until I decided to return it to get a basic modem instead, and purchase my own router. When the technician came over to install the modem, even he admitted that the routers Spectrum provides are garbage. I would have switched to a different provider already but I'm stuck with Spectrum since Fios is available in my area but not my building :(

Sometimes u just need to reset the modem. I was getting only 8 mbps download, I was like wtf then after reset back close 200 mbps

Thats crazy. I know of 2 twitch streamers that have spectrum as well and they have problems all the time with their internet. Hope this gets resolved for you soon!

I despise Spectrum so much, it was nothing but constant headaches with them for years. It was a great day when I moved and saw my new place had gigabit fiber lines hooked up.

We love your reactions and for me it is hard to wait because of your schedule and my thoughts are: "oh today isn't fairytail" per example or "where is bleach" , everytime it makes me almost cry (but only almost) 😭😉 but on the other side you make so much effort and with such love these videos- I/we understand your situation, we'll have to patient no problem ;)

What's wrong with the American internet and the ISPs? I barely ever have shit go kaboom, and even if I have, the ISPs are quite helpful, usually (assuming it's a problem they can help with). But I see people REEEEEing about the internet and ISPs in America all the time online. Maybe there's some merit to this, if this keeps happening to you continuously.

it depends on what region you are in, due to the fact that (as far as i know) the ISPs carved the map so that no1 would get on the "teritory" of another ISP there would be no competitor, no alternative for the people in a region. so if your internet is good than you have no reason to switch, if your internet is bad than you have no1 to switch over to. THIS is the reason why a bad ISP would not "lose" it's customers, kuz they can't go to a diferent ISP unless they relocate, and because they "cant" lose customers there is no reason for them to upgrade the internet ifrastructure quality :\

Regulatory capture. ISPs are amongst the most politically entrenched corporations in the US and have successfully lobbied against efforts (e.g., municipal broadband) to introduce competition in their markets. Check out "The Master Switch" by Tim Wu for a history. Broadband providers literally have traded cities with each other to ensure regional monopolies where they operate

Move to Salt Lake City. There's google fiber here. Unlimited data, 70 bucks/month, no contract, 1 gig dowload/upload. It's life changing.
