yeah natsu beat up jellal! i will say i always pronounced Jellal with the "r" in it. i guess it heard it that way, not sure what is the right way, the other way just doesn't sound cooler lol. You're probably right, it makes sense

So, THIS is where the issues with Mashima's writing really starts to show itself. &gt;The random use of modern terminology in a series that should know nothing about those kind of things, like Hibiki calling his directions an "app" or that they call the bikes "motorcycles" despite that world not having motors. &gt;The Dead Grand Prix, makes absolutely no sense. What was trying to be accomplished, and why were they racing? Why did Racer challenge him to a race instead of killing him and going after Natsu? Why did Gray play along and not just go guard Wendy and Natsu? &gt;Racer's ability. If his REAL ability is to slow others' perception of time, why was he able to retrieve Jellal's coffin quickly? Why do his punches and kicks hit any harder than ordinary punches and kicks? Why did he say that the bikes could match his speed? When Gray shot the arrow, why didn't he just move or take cover behind a tree? Wouldn't Sherry's dolls have been unaffected by his magic? Also, wouldn't changing others' sense of perception by MORE powerful than increasing your own speed? If he could already influence perception, why not just make them see illusions?

You're thinking too much, this arc is one of the best of fairy tail, they inded have vehicules thats working with magical power, maybe the mortors is working with magical power so nobody care about that,but i m agree that the racer ability is fucked up

Hm I think you guys are debating something not understandable in the comments. I think for those saying it's not logical, they don't really mean what you all think... if they are thinking the same as me it doesn't really mean something not real or something unknown (like those examples you are giving of Dragon Ball or One Piece, it's not necessary someone flying or aliens coming to Earth etc), logic is like more reasoning. Example, as someone said in the comments already, Racer has this perception power but this was so bad explained that people ask themselves questions, like if he just slows down other ppl instead of himself, how did he go take Jellal's body that fast? That type of questions are made because it isn't logical for the char power to do so. That's what they mostly mean, what makes the anime less enjoyable for them, I do have to agree this anime is not even near perfect but I do enjoy it, and I think nothing's really perfect too, so let's just enjoy this and those who don't like the anime are not forced to see it right.
