fairy tail is inspired by one piece, if you find some similitude with one piece it's Normal, however Fairy tail is really cool at the beginning and at the middle but for me the very end is trash 😭

I agree the dub is honestly pretty good. The voices suit the characters very well which isn’t usually the case cuz there are a lot of bad dubs out there

Fun fact(rough estimate/scuffed math) regarding the magic car A tesla battery has 220 mile range with 460mil kilojoules in batteries. That's about 10,454,545 kilojoules to power a couple tons of car for about 5miles.1 kcal is about 4.18 kj so that's about 2.5mil kcal for 5miles. We burn around 1800kcal a day doing nothing, enough to fully charge an iphone over 180times. An active person like erza burns about 3000 kcal a day.That's only about 12000 kilojoules. To chase someone with that car and that speed, erza used magic energy of at least multiple millions of kilojoules equivalent. That's why she's very drained and gray was very concerned. But i don't really care about that, i just wanted to say that our act if doing nothing but watching anime and sleep uses the same amount of energy to charge your iphone over 180 times, and it only takes a few mcdonalds meal. Our body is one crazy generator.

I initially started watching this show in english dub and then switched to sub when I caught up so ive seen it in both and I can honestly say both are very good. you dont have to switch to the dub permanently but I do recommend trying out the dub for an episode to see how it is. and as some people have said earlier the opening is not spoilers anymore. the only spoiler in it was Gray and Erza's characters

Actually the brain’s hippocampus helps fill in the blanks of language, so that is why acting in other languages feels so genuine. In reality you probably have no idea how Japanese inflection works. If you ask a normal Japanese person, they would tell you that in real life Japanese people do not speak anything like they do in anime. They would even go so far as to call it cheesy or over-acting. If you want to see a more authentic Japanese human experience watch a drama.

Erza doesn't have a draw back. She just used up to much magic power driving the magic fueled car. She often over exerts her self.

Yeah Erza is "air-za" in pronunciation. English dub calls her "ur-za" for some reason and that always threw me off lol. But yeah now you know. And she wasnt tired cause of a drawback to her ability, she just already used up a lot of magic driving the magic car, which is why Gray kept telling her to slow down

Apparently theres a vote for whether or not you should switch to dub? I mean the dub is fine, but i still think the sub for this show specifically is better, idk its just something about the flow of ft thats better in Japanese to me. And i say this with the dub being my first exposure, when usually i just prefer whichever version ive heard first

You can never beat the japanese seiyuu. Subs always best no matter wich show.

I watched this the first time in dub and loved it that way, but so far sub is just as good and that's when I'm used to dub.
